Surendra K. Dhir
Advisor

Dr. Dhir is a unique resource for Entry India; his broad based working level and managerial experience both with industry and various governments makes him an invaluable asset.

His most recent position as Managing Director of Jeld-Wen India, owned by one of the world’s largest building material companies, gave him the opportunity and experience of dealing with the Indian industry as well as the Government of India at all levels. His efforts in this position resulted in Indian builders accepting the molded door technology, a grass roots level shift for the industry.

Previous to this position, Dr. Dhir was Director of Capital Goods Technology Center, in Export Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. During his tenure there, he negotiated export controls on various critical defense technologies with most of the NATO nations for curbing illegal exports of nuclear, missile, chemical and other technologies essential for design and manufacture of commercial capital goods. As the Commerce member of U.S. delegation, he was awarded a Gold Medal for his efforts which contributed to successful formulation of various multilateral export control regimes.

Before joining Commerce, Dr. Dhir headed the laser and holographic laboratory of U.S. Navy’s Structures Department. His R&D efforts culminated in a number of design and development procedures which can accurately predict the structural response of ships and submarines. One of his structural response techniques is commonly referred by the technical community as “Dhir & Sikora Method”.

Dr. Dhir has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Technical University of Munich.

Arvind Sood

Arvind has over four decades of diversified experience in Sales & Marketing of Industrial and Consumer Goods, International Trade and Financial Services industry. He brings his unique experience of being both a business executive and successful entrepreneur to Entry India.

Arvind obtained the Bachelor of Commerce degree from Calcutta University and also attended Law College in Calcutta, India. He commenced his career working with the US Embassy, India. Later, accepted an executive position with the House of Dalmias and was selected to head Group’s European operations based in Germany.

Subsequently, as an entrepreneur, Arvind ventured into the field of International Trading all over the globe, especially, in Indian Sub-Continent, Middle East, Africa, Western Europe and Eastern Block. He migrated to USA in 1983 and continued to expand his International Trading business, besides diversifying into Travel Business, Domestic Trading and Fast Food Chain outlets.

Presently, Arvind, as Vice President with AXA Advisors, work with individuals, business owners, professionals, and SMEs in the field of Financial Services.

Naresh Chand
Advisor

Dr. Naresh Chand is an expert in pathophysiology, veterinary medicine, pharmacology, and toxicology. His over twenty years of experience in these fields spans academia, industry, and government sponsored research. He is presently at the National Institutes for Health, helping to develop medicines for the prevention and treatment of addiction to cocaine, heroin, and other CNS stimulants.
