Speakers

F. Wayne Holton, Partner, Citrin Cooperman - Wayne is a partner in the firm's New Jersey and New York City offices, and has been helping clients in the international tax arena for more than 42 years. He provides privately owned businesses, multi-national entities and high net worth individuals strategic tax planning and advice. His keen grasp of international laws and tax consequences across borders has earned him a client base across the globe and he is frequently interviewed by the business community's journals, newspapers and media on international tax topics.

Joseph F. Daniels, Partner, Loeb & Loeb - Joseph Daniels represents startup to mature public companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and investment banks in a wide range of corporate, finance, M&A and securities law matters. He has represented companies, venture capital firms and strategic investors in over $1 billion of private equity and debt financings. In addition, Mr. Daniels frequently speaks on a wide range of topics critical for emerging companies, sponsors and speaks at the Association of Fintech Professionals, BRICS Connect, Entrepreneur’s Roundtable, and Health 2.0 NYC events, and serves as a mentor to the Entrepreneur's Roundtable Accelerator (ERA).

Ben Farzam, CEO, Callvox - Ben is the CEO of Callvox, a boutique wholesale carrier focused exclusively on building, financing and managing direct routes in emerging markets and selling this capacity on a dedicated basis to retail calling card operators and tier 1 carriers. Ben has BA and BS degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a JD from Georgetown University.

Carmela Mammas – Carmela Mammas is the Director of the New York U.S. Export Assistance Center of the Commercial Service, the export promotion agency of the Department of Commerce. She joined the Commercial Service in 1992 and has been working with U.S. exporters for over 19 years. Ms. Mammas leads a team of international trade specialists to assist New York City firms to succeed in international markets through export counseling, market research, matchmaking and seminars. Her office focuses on counseling firms in a number of industries including information technology.

Patricia S. Horotan, Founder & COO, BlueMatrix - As Chief Operating Officer, Patricia is responsible for running the BlueMatrix operations. She developed the firm's widely used workflow and distribution products, while continually exploring innovative opportunities to serve its growing subscriber roster. Previous to BlueMatrix, Patricia held positions at Goldman Sachs, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and UBS.
