All of us know the confusion and the anxiety surrounding the recent changes in getting a Visa, PIO card, OCI card for India since May of last year. Rules keep changing daily. Surrendering the Indian passport for US citizens, fees and penalties for various "violations", sending the US passport with the applications... the list goes on.

To cut through this confusion and to bring us up-to-date on the current requirements, GOPIO-Edison held a workshop on "Visa, PIO card, OCI card and other Immigration Issues"  at the Regus Business Center on Tuesday July 5.  Mr. Krishna Palagummi, Attorney at Law based in Princeton, NJ was the main speaker. TV Asia sent a crew that interviewed some of particpants including the speaker.

The presentation was excellent. The group discussion was lively and at times heated.
