NEN represents India’s largest and most dynamic community of entrepreneurs, with over 70,000 members in 30 cities in India. NEN was established in 2003 with a mission to create and support entrepreneurs and to drive job-creation and economic growth in India.

It provides critical support to start-ups and entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship education; access to mentors and experts; incubation and funding. It has partnered with over 470 top-tier academic institutes in India to help them develop vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystems on campus.

NEN runs Entrepreneurship Week India, the country’s largest entrepreneurship-awareness campaign. In 2009, E Week India featured over 3500 events with more than 350,000 participants.

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Global www.tie.org

Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals, TiE’s mission is to generate and nurture next generation of entrepreneurs entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education.

There are currently 13,000 members in 56 chapters across 13 countries. Besides its flagship event, TiECon - the largest professional conference for entrepreneurs, TiE now has a wide range of programs including Special Interest Groups (SIGs), TiE Institute, Deal Flow Meetings, TiE Young Entrepreneurs, and, most recently, TiE Women’s Forum and CEO Forum.

Tie has chapters in most of the prominent cities in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, etc.

Started in April 2006, the Indian Angel Network  brings together entrepreneurs and CEOs from India and around the world who are interested in investing in startup / early stage ventures.

The Network, in addition to money, provides access to high quality mentoring, resources on strategy, risk management as well as execution.
